Adult Individual Therapy
Psychoanalytic therapy for adults is a form of talk therapy that explores the unconscious mind to uncover deeper emotional issues and conflicts that influence behavior and thoughts. This approach emphasizes the importance of our internal experiences and family of origin in understanding how we understand and navigate our daily lives and interactions. Through the therapeutic relationship, we can find meaningful and tangible insights that not only strike up cognitive understanding, but emotional healing as well. These depth-oriented approaches are evidence based and result in long-lasting change. Our clinicians have years of training and experience in working through this lens, collaborating with individuals to tailor each therapy for the needs of each unique person.

Child & Adolescent Therapy
Psychodynamic child and adolescent therapy uses relational approaches and heavily incorporates play in order to tap into the child’s emotional experience. Developmentally, children are not yet able to meaningfully integrate verbalization and emotional experience the same way adults can. Our clinicians have extensive experience in being able to harness the power the child’s emotional language of play in order to facilitate the expression of experiences and feelings that need to be worked through. Additionally, in combination with close collaboration with caretakers, difficulties at school and at home can be addressed in empathetic, developmentally-appropriate ways that take into consideration the child’s internal world.
