Dr. Dylan Morris
Licensed Clinical Psychologist PSY35163
I am a licensed clinical psychologist native to the Bay Area. I received my undergraduate degree from Stanford University studying psychology and neuroscience, and completed my doctoral training at The Wright Institute. I have enjoyed working with children, families, and adults for the past eight years in school settings, private practice, at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, and during my postdoctoral residency at Kaiser Permanente. I work with a diverse range of clinical concerns including emotional and behavioral challenges, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), complex trauma, anxiety, depression, family disruption, and neurodiversity.
My approach is attachment and relationship based, building trust to allow sharing of inner conflicts and areas of difficulty. Psychotherapy can be a sensitive and complex undertaking, and I approach this important work with compassion and understanding, providing relief and insight into areas of vulnerability. Alongside space for depth-oriented processing, I also incorporate collaborative problem solving and cognitive behavioral strategies (CBT) into treatment as appropriate, highlighting strengths and helping clients identify and mobilize inner resources and coping skills.
My services include:
Individual adult, adolescent, and child psychotherapy
