Kalpa Bhattacharjee, Psy.D.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY35433)

Are you feeling anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed? Maybe you're navigating a life transition, a painful and complex loss, or a rupture with your family or culture. I specialize in helping people who want to go beyond symptom relief and seek both deeper self-understanding and lasting change in how they relate to themselves, others, and the world.  Oftentimes, their experiences may be described as what is commonly called anxiety, trauma, or depression.

I also work with immigrants, bicultural individuals, and people of color facing racial stress, identity conflict, and the complexities of belonging to multiple cultures. Many of my patients are college and graduate students, thoughtful professionals, artists, and highly sensitive people.

I believe lasting change happens within a trusting, empathic therapeutic relationship where you feel deeply seen and understood. I bring a warm, relational presence and listen with care and attentiveness. I believe meaningful change begins with understanding how one relates to others, navigating one's inner emotional world, and making sense of one's place in the broader social context.

We’ll work together to explore the roots of your pain, identify what’s no longer serving you, and gently shift towards new ways of relating to yourself and others. It’s not always easy to begin therapy, but you don’t have to do it alone. If my approach resonates with you, I’d be honored to connect and see if we might be a good fit.
